Tax Collection Dates & Times at the Town Hall
Thursday, December 30th from 10:00am-12:00pm and from 5:00pm-7:00pm
Saturday, January 22nd from 2:00pm-5:00pm
Saturday, January 29th from 10:00am-2:00pm

Please include the perforated coupons from the bottom of the tax bill with your payment. If you would like a receipt of your tax payment, include a self addressed-stamped envelope. Only send your 2010 tax payment, any delinquent payments from previous years needs to be sent to the IOCO Treasurer.
If a manual split is needed on your tax bill, requests need to be brought to my attention right away, due to the processing time (about one week).

Garbage & Recycling: the fee for 2011 is set at $125.00 and can be paid with your taxes (on same check). Please make note of this with payment. Otherwise payment is due in September 2011.
Dog Licenses the due date to license your dog is April 1st, 2011. Any dog licensed after this date is subjected to a $5.00 late fee. Proof of vaccination is needed from your vet. Fill out the form on the back of this sheet and drop off at town hall in the convenient drop box or you may bring it with you when you pay your taxes. Male/Female $12.00 and Spayed/Neutered $6.00

Working Lands Initiative (WLI): The state budget bill revised the Farmland Preservation tax credit program into what is now called the WLI. There will be a meeting January 13th from 7:00-9:00pm in the County Board Room located at the Courthouse to provide information, enhance understanding and gather public input as the county continues to work with the towns and municipalities on land use planning and its impacts on our rich agricultural heritage. Public Informational Session on WLI on April 14th from 10:00-11:30am at Town of Brigham Hall, 2:00-3:30pm at Cobb Community Center, and 7:00-8:30pm in the County Board Room at the Courthouse. These sessions will provide an overview of WLI, from planning to zoning to conservation compliance requirements.
Town Caucus Information: Notice is hereby given that at an election to be held in the Town on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. All terms are for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Office Incumbent: Town Board Chairperson – Robert Thomas, Town Board Supervisor – Richard Strutt, Town Board Supervisor – Kenneth Bartz, Town Clerk – Nancy Parkos, Town Treasurer – Melody Scheckel. The town caucus for the purpose of nominating candidates to appear on the spring election ballot for the above listed offices will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 9 AM at the Town Hall, 6300 Prairie Road, Ridgeway.
