REGULAR BOARD MEETING
August 6, 2008

Others Present: Dick and Mark Bender, Laurie Crook
By Donny Marten. Town will not be responsible for the buried water

Minutes of meeting of July 2, 2008 presented in writing and reviewed
Correction made to have the last sentence in first paragraph to read
The bid from Ivey was $4.00/ton higher than bid from Gullickson. The

It was noted that the Hunter Safety class sponsored by DNR will be

Dick and Mark Bender appeared to ask permission dig a trench across
Reed Road
In order to allow Mark to access a outdoor furnace on Dicks land. He
will need
To dig a trench 3 ft deep so Mark can install PVC pipe. Seal coating
on Reed Road
Is good and Mark will bring road to present state. After reviewing and
discussing
The plan, Motion made Rich Strutt to allow Mark to dig the trench
under Reed Road
At Mark’s expense and bring Reed Road up to its present condition per
approval
from Iowa County Highway Commission.
Mrs Laurie Crook appeared to complain that Brotherhood Road has not
been seal
Coated as promised. The board responded with the explanation that
because of the
Excessive demands on the road budget caused by the winter snow, the

Not funds available for seal coating of Brotherhood at this time. If

Pat Ley has notified the town that he has not been paid by Greg Wolf
for the fence
That he built on the line fence between Greg Wolf and Rick Schonemann
as decided
By the Town Fence Viewers. Letter should be sent to Greg Wolf that he
must pay
The bill in the amount of $1,383.00 before September 1. 2008. If this
is not paid,
The amount will be paid by the town and added to the taxes of Greg
Wolf.
Bridge Inspections for 2008 are completed and recommendations for work
to be
Done received in 2008, the town will reconsider.
Monthly bills presented for approval to pay.
